Julie Wickert

Julie is Communications Chair for the APMP Central Texas Chapter. She has more than 16 years experience communicating complex concepts to humans as a proposal writer and manager, marketing writer, project manager, content developer, technical writer, technical trainer, and draftsman. Her business, True Story Communication (www.truestorycommunication.com), provides proposal consulting and marketing communications services to companies of all sizes, with a focus on capturing the stories that distinguish these organizations. Julie produces winning RFP responses, Web content, customer success stories, product literature, and more for her clients.

A hometown Austinite, Julie graduated from Austin's Saint Edwards University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drafting and Design Technology. Julie lives with her husband, her big ol’ son, and two rowdy dogs. She is a regular and enthusiastic volunteer at the Capital Area Food Bank.
